Joining the Quizbank

To join the QuizBank, your first step should be to enter a user name and a PIN into the form on the right side of the page.

Your user name can be anything you like, although you will need to use it everytime you visit the bank, so you may not want it to be too long. Unless you give yourself a "screen name" later, your user name will also be how you are known to other players.

Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) must be exactly four characters long, and can contain any combination of the following characters:

Although you can use any combination of these characters (and use a character more than once in your PIN), you should try not to make your PIN too easy to guess, or someone might be able to get into your account and play using your identity. Also please do not use the same PIN that you use with any kind of payment card. While it would be difficult for a hacker to break into this system, it is not a real bank (!) and is not secure enough for you to trust with such important information.

When you have decided on your user name and PIN, enter them, and click the round button labelled "It's my first time". Finally click "View My Statement", to set up your new account and look at its details.
