Activating Your Account

When you first set up your account, the account will have a status of Pending. Before you can start playing, you must activate your account by confirming your email address.

The reason for this is to make it more difficult for people to use automated methods for joining the bank and playing the game - we want this to be a fun game for everyone to play, and cheating spoils the fun for everyone.

Having signed in, with your user name and PIN, you will be shown your statement page. This will say that your account is pending, and you will be asked to enter your email address. (See privacy information if you are worried about giving us this).

After you have entered the address, and clicked the "Go" button, we will send you a short email containing your account number. This is between one and fifteen digits, and may also have a letter x at the start.

You will notice that the statement page has changed too, and you have a place to enter your account number, as well as the opportunity to change your email address if you mis-typed it.

This new statement page will now be shown whenever you sign in, until you enter the account number.

When you have received the email, return to the statement page and enter the number, then click the "Go" button next to the number and your account will be activated.
